Dr. Theodosios Bisdas, Director of the 3rd Vascular Surgery Clinic of Athens Medical Center, describes his specialization in the field of medicine, as well as the importance of the proper treatment of each patient, in order to achieve the best possible quality of life.

GENERAL
Prof. Bisdas, MD, PhD, FACS is the Director of the 3rd Vascular Surgery Clinic of Athens Medical Center and Associate Professor of Vascular Surgery at the Universitätsklinikum Muenster in Germany. After completing his studies at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, he trained in Vascular Surgery and particularly in new endovascular techniques at the Medical Schools of Hannover and Muenster in Germany. After completing his training and following research activity at Mount Sinai in New York, he took up the position of attending surgeon at the world-renowned vascular surgery clinic of St. Franziskus Hospital in Muenster, Germany, under the direction of Prof. Torsello.
He obtained the subspecialty of phlebologist, while he was recognized with the particularly demanding title of Endovascular Specialist by the German Academy of Vascular Surgery. In 2010 he was officially awarded a doctorate from the Medical School of Hannover and in 2014 he was appointed Associate Professor of the Medical School of Muenster in Germany. Since 2019, he returned to his homeland and took the reins of the newly established 3rd Vascular Surgery Clinic at Athens Medical Center.
